In the Irken Empire, height=status. The tallest is the leader. Since Red and Purple are the same height, they are the leaders. Zim is small. He is famous for 1 thing: Destroying his home planet in Operation Impending Doom I. Since they hate him, they were suprised that he came to number II. So they gave him a planet they didn't know existed. Then they gave him a junky, yet funny robot SIR. Thus is the birth of Gir.
